I’m raising my precious grandchild and also observe today my 36th wedding anniversary. My granddaughter is 8.
My grandchild is very giving. First mention of a birthday party or such, sends her scurrying off in search of something that would have the makings of a present for someone. She loves wrapping stuff. Such as it is in this case. It appears that she somehow took note of someone having mentioned today as our anniversary. This morning I had gotten up after she had been taken to school by my husband. I puttered into the kitchen and after a bit, went to make my bed. There it was. Laying on my bedside table (not sure how I first missed it) was THE PACKAGE. Loving wrapped in a paper towel secured with masking tape. Inside contained one of her paperback books. Loving written on the tape was, I love you 4-ever from granddaughter and husband. Yes, maybe he put her up to it but I doubt it. It had her signature all over it. May you also be blessed with your children today.
